Job Overview

Estia Health Oakleigh East is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers/Attendants (PCA's) to join our team as Personal Care Worker/PCA - Nutrition on a Casual basis. In this role you will support residents with meals and drinks, ensuring a person centred care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their meals and drinks following Estia Health's personalised meal service guidelines.
• Lend a hand with daily life activities, ensuring residents feel heard, comfortable, and well fed.
• Collaborate with the team to support residents who require additional care and assistance.
• Encourage and facilitate meaningful and engaging activities for residents.
• Maintain a supportive and respectful environment, upholding each resident's privacy and dignity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
• Relevant experience in aged care personal care or a similar setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on residents' lives.
• Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work effectively in a hospital style, front of house and back of house model.
