The Opportunity

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrative Secretary to join our dynamic team. This role 4 days pw (0.8EFT - Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and is based at Monash Audiology, with 2 days at our Clayton site (Monday & Tuesday), and 2 days at our East Bentleigh site (Thursday & Friday), with occasional support across other Monash Health sites. 

As an integral part of our service, you will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling patient appointments and managing arrivals/departures
• Updating patient details in the Patient Administration System (iPM)
• Handling telephone enquiries and preparing reports
• Processing orders via Oracle and assisting with general administrative tasks
• Supporting medical and administration staff as required

Healthcare administration is fast-paced, and our secretaries play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and families.

 

Key Selection Criteria

We are looking for a proactive, organised individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team. You will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in an administration environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows applications
• Experience with iPM & SMR systems (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with Medilink Professional appointment system (desirable)
