Your part in our St Andrews War Memorial Hospital team
Weare seeking experienced Physiotherapists to join the team at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital for a Full time position commencing in September.
As a Physiotherapist at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment with patients to maximise their physical potential and restore movement and function, you will provide treatment integral to recovery from surgery, illness and injury.
With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care.
What makes a difference for us?
- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years post graduate clinical experience in acute tertiary hospital or rehabilitation hospital setting
- Experience in Day Rehabilitation and/or Inpatient rehabilitation
- Experience working in acute surgical, medical and cardiorespiratory clinical areas is desirable
- Exceptional communication skills, teamwork and a focus on patient-centred care
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
- Availability to commence late September 2026.

Your part in our Blue Care team
You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clientsenhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life!
You'll have the opportunity to develop new treatment programs, helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:
- Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
- Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification
- Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers
- Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

About the role
Provide an integrated, patient-centred and evidence-based Occupational Therapy service to inpatients across the St Vincent’s Hospital campus, including managing new referrals, reviewing patients and continuing therapy as outlined in handover lists. About you

Previous post-graduate Occupational Therapy experience in acute and sub-acute hospital settings across a range of clinical areas, including neurology, general medicine/surgery and rehabilitation, within a multidisciplinary team environment

About the Role

Your Contribution
You will be an experienced Speech Pathologist with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for older adults.
You will also bring:
Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
At least 8 years’ experience in adult Speech Pathology
Extensive experience in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders

Along with your passion for your local community and leading a store that provides great customer service you will:
•
Demonstrate a passion for Thrift Emporium and its purpose, promoting its service and value to the community through personal actions, behaviours, practices and outcomes
•
Support the Retail Supervisor in all aspects of a retail operation and delegate responsibilities where appropriate to ensure sound business practices are adhered to and sales targets are achieved
•
Work with staff and volunteers to review and monitor pricing, visual merchandising, promotional events and selling techniques to ensure that profitability is maintained and improved
•
Maintain effective communication channels within direct team, regional support functions and external stakeholders and provide assistance to team members in handling customer complaints / enquiries.
•
Identify issues and opportunities based on selling and customer feedback
•
Set objectives and prioritise tasks, ensuring objectives are tied to overall business strategy
•
Coach and develop direct reports daily, ensuring development goals are linked to business objectives and improved performance

As our Program Lead – Counselling and Family Mental Health Support Services, you'll provide strategic leadership, professional supervision and operational oversight of Anglicare's Shoalhaven Counselling and Shoalhaven/Dapto Family Mental Health Support Services.
Leading a team of Counsellors, Case Managers and student placements, you'll foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic and case management services.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll maintain a small portfolio of counselling clients and complex family case management, providing specialist intervention where families require additional clinical expertise and coordinated support.

What you'll bring
You're an experienced clinician and inspiring leader who is passionate about improving mental health outcomes for children, young people and families.

You will also need:
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related discipline.
Current registration or professional membership (AASW, PACFA, ACA, AHPRA or equivalent).

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership and working with individuals, children, young people and families experiencing mental health concerns.
Extensive counselling and/or family therapy experience.
Significant complex case management experience.
Experience completing psychosocial and risk assessments.
Leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and family-centred practice.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ideally, you will also have:

About the role
Lead the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) program across SVHS and affiliated services, providing clinical and professional leadership to support safe and sustainable medication practices, compliance with medication management standards, and alignment with SVHA and NSW Health priorities
Oversee the hospital medication formulary, including Individual Patient Use (IPU) approvals, formulary requests and reporting, and liaison with the State Formulary Committee and that all regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
Deliver Medication Use Evaluations and Quality Improvement activities, including monitoring and reporting on drug expenditure, and contribute to QUM research, education, promotional initiatives, bulletins and memos supporting safe and effective medication use
Coordinate the SVHN Drug and Therapeutics Committee (DTC) secretariat, including communicating DTC decisions, preparing reports and maintaining the Pharmacy Intranet, while providing QUM advice to clinicians, pharmacists and external organisations including the Ministry of Health and CEC
Be an active member of relevant committees and working parties and assist in the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures to ensure optimal medication management
About you
Registered pharmacist with AHPRA, with no conditions on scope of practice, and relevant post-registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills and experience. Availability for on-call and weekend work as required
Significant experience and demonstrated competence in clinical pharmacy services, with strong clinical judgement, expertise and commitment to ongoing professional development
Demonstrated experience in formulary management and Drug and Therapeutics Committee processes, including implementation of committee decisions and development and implementation of medication-related policies and procedures
Demonstrated experience delivering Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) initiatives and Medicines Use Evaluation (MUE/DUE) activities, with knowledge of applying relevant Healthcare Standards in practice

About the role
Provide evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for patients with osteoarthritis of the knee or hip, supporting pain management, health behaviour change, adjustment to long-term conditions, function and quality of life
Facilitate and deliver individual and group-based psychological interventions and education resources, supporting behaviour change and self-management within the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP), and integrating psychological approaches into multidisciplinary care
Work as the sole Clinical Psychologist within the OACCP, providing leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of psychological components of care, with a high degree of autonomy and minimal direct supervision, while providing multidisciplinary team support and clinical supervision to junior staff

Provide psychology input into multidisciplinary planning, quality and research activities, as well as specialist advice to guide the treatment of relevant patients across other areas of the hospital, within the district and to other hospitals within NSW
About you
APAC-approved Masters or higher in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology, with full general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and endorsement in Clinical or Health Psychology preferred
Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and significant clinical experience in the provision of psychology services within the defined areas of arthritis, osteoporosis and chronic care
Strong organising and time-management skills, with the ability to facilitate effective clinical service delivery, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and advocate for the needs of the psychology service
Ability to implement clinical services incorporating continuous improvement, WH&S principles, data analysis, evidence-based practice and research

- Actively provide support to the strategic Hospitality plan.
- In conjunction with the Resident Experience Manager, ensure that all menus have been nutritionally assessed and menu reviews involve and include resident involvement.
- Recipes are trialled and tested using the available resources at the sites, and production staff, along with the target audiences, are actively engaged in the process.
- In conjunction with the Resident Experience Manager, participate in the development and monitoring of recipes in line with standard production practices. This will include the use of software where applicable and also require the monitoring of nutritionally balanced meal production.
- Provide support and technical skills to CPU based personnel in relation to Cook Chill processes and systems, including recruitment, training and ongoing professional development of staff.
- Provide support and technical skills to site based personal in relation to Cook Chill processes and systems including product regeneration and quality.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders keeping in mind "cause and effect" of changes implemented by you/ team.
- Effectively manage food safety plan compliance for the Bundaberg CPU.

Essential Qualifications & Licences:
- Qualified Chef at Senior Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or equivalent level
