Your opportunity
As aCarer at Melva McDonald Lodge in Rooty Hill,you will provide high-quality, person-centred care thatsupports our residents to live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, attending to residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met and help enhance their independence and quality of life.
With kindness and understanding, you will:
Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding
Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Observe, monitor and accurately document residents’ care and progress
Follow individual care plans and respond to residents’ needs and preferences
Escalate changes in a resident’s condition to the Registered Nurse or appropriate leader
Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals and other care team members
Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, safety and independence
What you’ll bring

What’srequired:
A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or an equivalent qualification
Minimum sixmonths’experience providing personal care in aged care or a similar healthcare environment
CurrentNDIS workers screening check clearance.
Experience using electronic care management or digital documentation systems
Australian working rights appropriate to the position
Availability to work[insert required shifts, employment type and roster requirements].
What’s preferred:
Experience working in residential aged care
Experience supporting people living with dementia
Experience completing progress notes and following individual care plans
Experience working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary care teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Your opportunity
In this flexible, hands-on role, you will provide practical and person-centred support to children, young people parents, carers and families accessing our services. Deliver practical in-home and community-based support tailored to individual and family needs.
Assist families to strengthen parenting skills, routines and daily living capabilities.
Support participation in education, appointments, social, recreational and community activities.
Provide transport and supervised family contact support where required.
Respond to enquiries, complete required administration and maintain accurate service documentation.
Work within funding guidelines, program targets, organisational policies and safe work practices.
What you'll bring
You are a calm, dependable and adaptable support worker who can build trust while maintaining professional boundaries. You work confidently on your own and as part of a team, communicate clearly and respond flexibly to changing needs across regional locations.

What's required
Demonstrated experience providing direct support to children, young people or people with complex support needs.
Understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based and child-safe practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Current unrestricted NSW driver licence and ability to travel to other locations in the region as negotiated.
Access to a vehicle with third-party property insurance for work-related travel, where required.
Current Working with Children Check and willingness to complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
Ability to work flexible hours when required, including occasional evenings or weekends.
What's preferred
Experience in out-of-home care, child and family services, youth work or a regional community-services setting.
A Cert III or above qualification in community services, youth work, child and family services or a related field.
Current First Aid Certificate.

About the role.
At Western NSW LHD you can challenge yourself, make an impact and shape the future of rural health. As an Assistant in Nursing, you will be integral to us achieving our goal of healthier rural people and thriving communities.
You’ll have strong communication, empathy and customer service skills while you assist patients with their daily routines, such as showering, toileting, dressing, eating, communication, mobility, medication and exercise. You’ll keenly observe those in your care, keep accurate electronic patient records and assist in the planning of daily routines and ongoing care.
Working closely to assist the registered nurse, you’ll work independently on tasks delegated, collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
This role involves rotating shift work including night duty. The work is varied with emergency presentation, acute medical inpatient and residential aged care.
The town of coolah is surrounded by national park land. The town is situated approximately 1hour 30minutes from Dubbo & Mudgee.

About the role
The Orthoptist will join the Ophthalmology team to ensure patients receive high quality ophthalmic care whilst attending the Women and Children’s Health Network. The orthoptist will investigate and manage paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility conditions and contribute to the effective and efficient running of Ophthalmology outpatient clinics.
Key duties of the role
- Provide effective Orthoptic assessment and management services, including the management of amblyopia, refractive error, strabismus and other Orthoptic conditions, using evidence-based practice
- Liaise with senior staff on complex cases and contribute to contact lens services, administration and departmental teaching
- Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the Ophthalmology department
- Actively participate in SA Health’s Clinical Supervision programme working with your supervisor on a regular basis to further build your knowledge base.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate degree or Master’s Degree qualification in Orthoptics which entitles registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board (AOB). Eligible for membership of Orthoptics Australia (OA)”
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in paediatric ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated experience in paediatric orthoptics, including strabismus, amblyopia and ocular motility.
- Strong clinical, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Grade 3 Speech Pathologist to join the Speech Pathology team at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. In this senior clinical role, you will provide advanced assessment and management for adults with communication and swallowing disorders within the subacute inpatient setting. You will manage a specialized clinical caseload while providing leadership and expertise to support high-quality, person-centered and evidence-based care. Working closely with the Grade 4 Subacute Team Leader and broader multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in optimizing patient outcomes and supporting safe and effective transitions of care. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the Speech Pathology service, leading clinical initiatives and supporting contemporary models of care, quality improvement and professional development.

Your Responsibilities
You will:
Provide advanced Speech Pathology assessment and management for adults with complex communication and swallowing disorders
Manage a specialised clinical caseload within the subacute inpatient setting
Provide clinical leadership and promote excellence in evidence-based, person-centred Speech Pathology practice
Work collaboratively with the Grade 4 Subacute Team Leader and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes

About the opportunity
The Pain Service Senior Clinical Psychologist P3 is an exciting new role at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. The Senior Clinical Psychologist provides psychological assessment, case formulation, psychoeducation and evidence based psychological interventions to outpatients of the Gynaecology Persistent Pelvic Pain Partnership Pathway (P5) Clinic. Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary Pain Service team based at MHW, the psychologist also provides consultation and liaison to the referring MHW unit and treating team; develops, promotes and improves psychological clinical service delivery, in consultation with the Director of Gynaecology, P5 Clinic Psychiatrist, and Director of Psychology; assists in the development and delivery of multidisciplinary pain management services; attends multidisciplinary reviews, providing consultation, psychoeducation and psychological strategies to assist staff, teams and families/carers. The psychologist may also be involved in supervision of Grade 2 Psychologists and Registrars.

- Current full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, with Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.

- At least 5 years’ experience as a Psychologist post full AHPRA registration.
- PsyBA approved Psychology Supervisor status (or eligible and working towards same).
- Strong interest/passion and clinical experience in women’s health and chronic pain.
- Grade 2 clinical psychologists with significant interest and experience in women’s health and chronic pain may be considered.
- Commitment to working within a recovery-oriented framework, with a compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective client care.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt, problem solve and prioritise workload.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships with a diverse range of people, and contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
- Advanced clinical skills and experience in psychological assessment and formulation, mental state and risk assessment, and evidence-based psychological therapies, including in the context of complex and chronic pain presentations with co-existing physical health, mental health, trauma, personality disorders and/or substance abuse.
- Training and knowledge in evidence based psychological therapies and models relevant to persistent pain management.
- Experience in delivering group and individual therapy.
- Understanding and experience in trauma-informed care.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

About the role
This permanent part-time Senior Pharmacist (Grade 3) role is three days per week and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hospital Pharmacy Service at Neringah Hospital in Wahroonga, and other HammondCare Health & Hospital sites if required.

The Role
The position requires the employee to undertake activities for which they have the legal authority and competence to perform. The person performing the delegated activity is accountable for his or her own actions and to the General Practitioner (GP) and Registered Nurse (RN). Supervision means the direction and guidance given by a RN to an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). The supervision may be direct or indirect according to the nature of the work delegated to the AIN.
The position holder will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) & Juvenile Justice rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC) is a maximum-security correctional facility for male offenders and is one of 3 correctional facilities within the Silverwater Correctional Complex in Sydney. Inmates who arrive at the MRRC:
- Come directly from court on remand
- Stay at the MRRC while they attend court in the Sydney Metropolitan Area (before returning to their home correctional centre)
- Stay at the MRRC while they await a vacancy at a centre matching their classification.
Most offenders leave the centre within a few months of their arrival, usually because they obtain bail (and release) or transfer centre

The Role
The position requires the employee to undertake activities for which they have the legal authority and competence to perform. The person performing the delegated activity is accountable for his or her own actions and to the General Practitioner (GP) and Registered Nurse (RN). Supervision means the direction and guidance given by a RN to an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). The supervision may be direct or indirect according to the nature of the work delegated to the AIN.
The position holder will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) & Juvenile Justice rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC) is a maximum-security correctional facility for male offenders and is one of 3 correctional facilities within the Silverwater Correctional Complex in Sydney. Inmates who arrive at the MRRC:
- Come directly from court on remand
- Stay at the MRRC while they attend court in the Sydney Metropolitan Area (before returning to their home correctional centre)
- Stay at the MRRC while they await a vacancy at a centre matching their classification.
Most offenders leave the centre within a few months of their arrival, usually because they obtain bail (and release) or transfer centre

About the opportunity
The Occupational Therapy department at WMH offers a supportive environment that promotes a culture of learning and development, with various opportunities for career progression. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role will contribute to the effective operation of the department through leadership in quality improvement initiatives, resource development and coordination, and maintaining well‑organised and safe therapy environments.

Support residents with mobility and physicalassistance.
Providecompanionship and emotional support.
Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

What is required?

A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
AnNDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian QualificationsFramework.
