Where you'll be working
Garrawarra Centre is a 104 bed Dementia Specific Residential Aged Care Facility located in the tranquil setting of Garrawarra State Conservation Area, Waterfall. The Centre is one of the few purpose-built, dementia specific facilities in New South Wales.
There is ample, free on-site parking but you will need your own reliable transport as Garrawarra is not accessible by any public transport.

What you'll be doing
All staff are expected to act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote culture and supporting practices that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with residents, clients and employees.
All staff are expected to take reasonable care that their actions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others, that they comply with any reasonable instruction that is given them and with any reasonable policies/procedures relating to health or safety in the workplace, as well as notifying any hazards/risks or incidents to their managers.
Provision of support to the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Provide direct care activities to residents with dementia in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses with residents care interventions as directed
Contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required
Communicate effectively with residents and other health care team members in accordance with appropriate protocol

1. Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Descriptor: Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or equivalent

About the Role
Join our Youth Services and Forensic Mental Health in Community Health team as a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people across Melbourne’s south-east. This is a part-time (0.8 EFT), ongoing role based in Dandenong, working across our Youth Health Hubs and Forensic Mental Health programs, including services delivered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychosocial assessment, therapeutic intervention, care coordination and group programs. You’ll support young people aged 15–25 years, as well as adults with mild to moderate mental health needs who have mental health treatment requirements as part of a Corrections Order or parole.
Using evidence-based, trauma-informed and person-centred approaches, you’ll support people to improve their health, wellbeing and independence.
About the Program
Youth Services supports young people aged 15–25 years to improve their health literacy, manage their health and wellbeing, and reduce preventable chronic disease and avoidable hospital admissions.
The Forensic Mental Health in Community Health (FMHiCH) Team supports adults on Corrections Orders or parole who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health conditions. The team assists people to access appropriate healthcare, meet their mental health treatment requirements and reduce their risk of reoffending.
Both services sit within a broader multidisciplinary program alongside Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and Community Health Nursing. Our teams value collaboration, inclusion and trauma-informed care, working closely with families, community organisations and health services.
About You
You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with people experiencing vulnerability, disadvantage or complex health needs. You bring a collaborative, strengths-based approach and are confident building therapeutic relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
- Current general AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, with no restrictions
- Strong assessment, therapeutic intervention and care coordination skills
- Group facilitation skills and the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds, including refugee and CALD communities
- Current Victorian Driver Licence

The Team
Join a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team at the Launceston General Hospital on Ward 3R - Rehabilitation Unit. As a Hospital Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting the team to deliver high-quality care to rehabilitation patients. Our team works closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role
Hospital Aides are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, infection prevention, and environmental safety throughout the ward. Their duties include cleaning patient areas, restocking supplies, supporting meal services, transporting equipment, and assisting with general ward requirements. Through their attention to detail and commitment to quality, they help create an environment where patients can receive care safely and comfortably.
You will need
- Previous experience working within a healthcare environment.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of infection control.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 56 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary
$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

The Team
Flinders Island Multi Purpose Centre
- The Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre comprises nine aged care beds, five acute beds, an Outpatient and Emergency service, physiotherapy, x-ray, podiatry/footcare and visiting services.
- Flinders Island is a rural and remote tier one facility well supported by GPs.
- A scenic island with a welcoming community of approximately 900 people.
The Role
- Under supervision, and in accordance with Agency policy, legal, regulatory, and funded program requirements, the Health Care Assistant provides high quality care and support to community and/or facility-based clients and assists with a range of daily living activities that a person would normally do for themselves.

Details of appointment
- Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$65,827 to $68,854 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025

About the Role
Join our team as a Grade 4 Psychologist on a Part Time Ongoing basis (0.2 - 0.3 EFT) at MMC Clayton, working within the broader Developmental and Community Paediatric Medicine team.
This position provides Clinical Leadership of the Psychology and Allied Health team within the Developmental Paediatric Clinic, an interdisciplinary, tertiary-level service dedicated to the assessment of complex neurodevelopmental conditions (including neurological and genetic conditions) in children and young people from birth to 18 years of age.
This is a Grade 4 Psychology position. Grade 4 Psychology positions are highly experienced psychologist who have an area of practice endorsement and are board approved supervisors. They have demonstrated high level knowledge and skills such that they maintain the standards through developing policy, monitoring and improving performance in others and driving education.
The specific focus of the position is to provide evidence-based psychological services to patients with neurodevelopmental differences in the domains of social-communication, cognition, intellectual function, and emotional and behavioural regulation, in addition to difficulties in academic and/or adaptive functioning. These concerns typically arise in the context of suspected neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), and Communication Disorders (CD). Patients also present with co-occurring challenges such as anxiety, sleep disturbances, and feeding difficulties, alongside complex psychosocial factors influencing their overall functioning.
About You
Some technical skills, knowledge and experience required of the successful applicant includes (but not limited to):

Expert knowledge of the methods, principles and practices of providing evidence-based, best practice assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation of children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Training and experience in psychological assessments tools in the paediatric context including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III), Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV), Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales (VABS-3), Behaviour Assessment System for Children (BASC-3) and Child Behaviour Checklist (CBCL).

Join our team as an Environmental Services Assistant on a part time to work at the Cranbourne Community Hospital based in Cranbourne. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Support Services Supervisor and the General Services Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
ESAs are responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe hospital environment; not only for patients, but also for visitors and colleagues across Monash Health. ESAs deliver high-quality environmental services across clinical and non-clinical areas.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) team as a Counsellor/Advocate. We have a full time, fixed-term, opportunity until October 2027. Based in Dandenong, this role is open to Social Workers and Psychologists who are passionate about supporting people impacted by sexual assault and family violence.
As a Grade 2 Counsellor/Advocate you will provide high quality trauma focused counselling and therapeutic interventions, driven by frameworks of intersectionality, gender equality, anti-oppression, and a human rights-based approach. This position requires a truly collaborative approach, working with clients, their families and key agencies, within the scope of current legislation and professional guidelines. Key purpose of this role includes:
- To provide counselling and therapeutic interventions to people who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence
- To undertake evidence-based and trauma focussed assessments, case formulation, goal setting, counselling, and crisis response
- To work collaboratively with the client and key agencies to advocate for, assess and respond to identified risk
- To contribute to the After-Hours rosters

The South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) is a specialist service supporting people who have experienced sexual assault and family violence across Melbourne’s south-east. Our work is grounded in safety, respect, empowerment and recovery. We provide specialist therapeutic support to adults, children, young people and families, recognising that every person’s experience, needs and pathway to recovery are different.
As part of SECASA, you’ll work alongside a passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team delivering counselling, advocacy, assessment and therapeutic interventions. Our work extends beyond individual support – we also partner with services and communities through education, professional training, advocacy and prevention initiatives to help create lasting change.

About You
You are a skilled Social Worker or Psychologist with demonstrated clinical experience supporting adults who have experienced complex trauma related to sexual assault and/or family violence. With experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and external agencies, you are committed to enhancing the wellbeing and safety of your clients. You possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, building trust and rapport with both colleagues and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.

This role does not involve cancer genetics as there is a separate Familial Cancer Centre based at Monash Medical Centre.
A Day in the Life:
- Provision of prenatal, paediatric, adult and reproductive genetic counselling, in line with current standards of care.
- Perform “duty” to respond to incoming enquiries from patients/referring clinicians, referral triage and administration support.
- Document patient information such as pedigree and consultation notes in medical record.
- Appropriate practical and psychosocial follow up of patients, including post consultation letters.
- Work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team of other genetic counsellors, clinical geneticists, clinical genetics fellows, administration staff, intake assistants, students and other health care providers.
- Participate in research as appropriate.
About You
You are an experienced Genetic Counsellor with a strong focus on patient centred care. Through your hard working and enthusiastic nature you have the ability to adapt to changing settings and work shifts that suit your lifestyle. You have a high level of knowledge and understanding of genetic counselling, including medical, genetic and psychosocial aspects. You have demonstrated clinical placement experience in the provision of genetic counselling. You have excellent written and verbal, English communication skills. You thrive working in a fast paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team and are a considerate and collaborative team member. You are a proficient computer user, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly.

The Team
Working within the Royal Hobart Hospital Pharmacy’s Compounding & Cancer Services unit, the Clinical Trials & Specialised Drugs team provide expert care to inpatients and outpatients of the RHH across haematology, oncology, paediatrics and other clinical areas.
The Role
Under supervision of the Team Leader – Compounding & Cancer Care Services and the Lead Pharmacist - Compounding & Cancer Care Services, develop and contribute to a safe and efficient compounding service to inpatients and outpatients of the Department of Health (DoH). Oversee the work of team members whose work includes the specialist areas of extemporaneous, aseptic and cytotoxic compounding, including undertaking training, professional supervision, and support regarding other pharmacy staff
You will need
- Experience in manufacture of complex parenteral or extemporaneous products and/or experience in clinical application of these products.
- Possession of, or working towards, a postgraduate qualification in relevant area.

About the role
Child and Family Health is a service of the Women's and Children's Health Network, which provides a range of early intervention, parenting and child development programs. These programs support vulnerable families with children 0-3 years, who are experiencing a range of complex issues which may impact on their children's safety, wellbeing and development.
The CaFHS Social Worker works with parents who face challenges through the provision of individual counselling, advocacy and support. The CaFHS Social Worker works as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve the early identification, assessment and care planning for families with complex needs and facing adversity. The Social Worker is based in a CaFHS region but works across sites, including Woodville, Angle Park, Port Adelaide, Ingle Farm and Enfield.
Key duties of the role
- Direct service provision for Collaborative Care eligible clients by providing specialist skills in assessment and engagement of families who are experiencing psychosocial adversity. Appointments may be completed within client homes or clinic-based.
- A positive image of the service will be conveyed through all interactions with clients.
- Takes responsibility for improving the quality of personal practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a service of best practice.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Establish key stakeholder and client relationships across the socio-economic spectrum and from diverse cultures and work effectively within a direct client service environment.
- Proven experience evaluating complex cases and utilising high-level counselling and/or case management practice skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the major social and health issues facing Aboriginal people, women, fathers and children.
- Dependent on having a current drivers' licence and willingness to drive.

Position details
The Team
Outpatient Services encompass a wide range of medical treatment, procedures and consultations that do not necessarily require a hospital admission. The Outpatient Services cares for patients from the North and the Northwest of Tasmania, for diagnosis, treatment or follow-up and the patient can return home after their appointment. Offers high-quality health services and plays a central role in achieving convenience, and cost-efficiency services.
- To work with the wider health care professionals within the Tasmanian Health Service and consumers.
- Provide efficient clerical support in making appointments.
- Receive direction from the Practice Manager and Nurse Unit Managers of Specialist Clinic.
- All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role
- Register referrals accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments.
- Provide professional telephone and administrative support.
You will need

Join our experienced and dynamic Speech Pathology team at Monash Children’s Hospital, providing evidence-based care to infants, children and adolescents across a growing tertiary paediatric service.

About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 3 Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (AMP)! We have a full time, parental leave cover position available, extending from 23/11/2026 until 24/11/2027.
Based mainly across Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital and Monash Medical Centre/Monash Children's Hospital, you will provide advanced assessment, clinical reasoning and management of adult and paediatric musculoskeletal presentations within the Emergency Department setting. Depending on your experience and operational requirements, opportunities may also extend to outpatient services across Dandenong, Casey and Moorabbin Hospitals.
Work collaboratively with senior medical and specialty teams, including those from the Emergency Department (ED) and specialty teams, such as Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery, to ensure the best care for Monash Health patients. The Team
The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) offers a specialised counselling and support to assist adults, children and young people, children who have experienced family violence. This service is part of the Safe at Home service system, with a strong focus on the safety and well-being of victim survivors of family violence.
The Role
- Assist children and young people to recover from their experience of family violence trauma through the delivery of evidence based and family violence trauma informed therapeutic counselling and support. This will include a range of developmental and age appropriate techniques and tools within a counselling/therapeutic setting.
- Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of group programs.
- Provide information and support, referral and advice to clients and other service providers.
You will need
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and practice experience of family violence trauma and its impact on the developmental needs of children and young people, together with the ability to assess complex dynamics and risk and safety assessments within a specialist family violence framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with children and young people who have complex needs, including the ability to work effectively with family members and other service providers in a complex care context.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative, work with general supervision and seek guidance as appropriate.

About the Department / Program
The BeWell Program sits within the Psychology Program of Monash Health. The service has been operating for over 5 years and forms on integral part of the wider wellbeing strategy of Monash Health. BeWell continues to provide, promote and support the well-being of Monash Health Staff. The role provides comprehensive wellbeing support across several key areas including individual wellbeing support; in-house response to critical incidents (Psychological First Aid); team wellbeing sessions which either provide reflective practice or are focused on a specific topic of relevance; and providing assistance to senior leaders in supporting a mentally healthy workplace.
About the Role
Join our team as aSenior Psychologist on anongoing basis. We have0.7 EFT available. The role works across all sites of Monash health. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Manager of BeWell/ Deputy Director of Psychology. This is aSenior Psychologist (Grade 4)role within Psychology. The role psychologically informed wellbeing expertise that supports the wider wellbeing strategy.
About You
To be successful in this healthcare role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:
- First and foremost you are passionate about engaging with your Healthcare workers to provide the prevention, promotion and responses needed to assist in enhancing workers well-being.
- Expert knowledge of the methods, principles and practices of providing evidence-based, best practice wellbeing interventions for staff
- Training and experience in in the delivery of Psychological First Aid (PFA)
- Experience providing consultation regarding psychological services
- Experience in developing of policies and procedures in areas requiring specialist psychological knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to provide tailored interventions within group setting
- Significant prior experience in a public health setting
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with rapid timelines
Mandatory requirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships,
- Current general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Hold an area of practice endorsement
- Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) approved supervisor for Registrar Supervision (primary and secondary) and Higher Degree supervision
- At least 8 years of experience as a registered psychologist
