About the role

This role will provide culturally responsive mental health care to Aboriginal children, adolescents, and families. Delivers assessment, advocacy, counselling, and cultural leadership. Collaborates with services, supports staff, and ensures culturally safe practice, accountability, and improved wellbeing outcomes.

Key duties of the role

About the role

Join the Northern Country CAMHS team as an Occupational Therapist delivering evidence-based mental health services to children and adolescents aged 0–16 years and their families. The role focuses on direct clinical practice, including discipline-specific assessment, clinical formulation and delivery of individual, family and group-based interventions. You will work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team, providing consultation and contributing to joint clinical work, education, and governance processes.

Responsibilities include high-quality clinical documentation, participation in case reviews, service evaluation and quality improvement activities, and promoting culturally safe, person-centred care. You will be supported through multidisciplinary collaboration, line management by the Service Manager, coordination with the Clinical Coordinator, access to clinical supervision, and opportunities for ongoing professional and leadership development.

Essential Qualification:

Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

About the roles

Join the Northern Country CAMHS team as a Psychologist or Senior Psychologist, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to children and adolescents aged 0–16 years and their families within a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting. The primary focus of the role is direct clinical service delivery, including comprehensive assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention for children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will balance clinical work with consultation and collaborative support to colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared clinical decision-making and service quality through joint clinical work, education and participation in governance processes.

The Senior Psychologist role additionally offers advanced clinical leadership through supervision, complex case consultation, service coordination, quality improvement, research and workforce development. Both roles support culturally responsive, person-centred care, active consumer participation, and ongoing professional development to strengthen service quality and outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

AHP2: Master’s in Clinical or Health Psychology (PsyBA registered or provisionally registered, with provisional registrants completing degree within 6 months and meeting all PsyBA requirements).

AHP3: Master’s in Clinical or Health Psychology (PsyBA registered with endorsement, and approved PsyBA supervisor at all levels).

You will provide comprehensive assessment, therapeutic interventions, education, counselling, group work, and consultation within a multidisciplinary and interagency framework. Both roles accept accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice, ensuring optimal consumer care and recovery, and are responsible for addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy. The Senior Social Worker role additionally provides leadership through supervision, direction, support, and education of staff, as well as participation in action research projects, quality improvement initiatives, and policy development. Essential Qualification:

About the Role:

As an Assistant in Nursing and Midwifery, you’ll assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses/Midwives in providing general patient and client care, undertaking basic nursing duties that contribute to daily living activities and clinical support. About the Role:

As an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery, you will support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in the delivery of general patient and client care. You will undertake basic nursing duties that would otherwise be performed by an Enrolled or Registered Nurse/Midwife, while remaining accountable for your own actions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes and to develop your career in a multidisciplinary team environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery (can state year of program eg 3rd year) and have completed any training required by the employer relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level; OR
• Be employed on the basis that the person is, or will be, undertaking a course approved by the Registration Authority for the preparation of Enrolled Nurses; OR
• Hold a Certificate III or IV in one of the following health related disciplines:
  • Basic Health Care;
  • Aged Care;
  • Health Services Assistance: (Qualifications to include elective units recommended for AIN Acute care);
  • Home and Community Care;
  • Individual Support Work;
  • Or such other nationally recognised courses approved within the healthcare setting by full agreement of DHA and the ANMF
• Experience, within the boundaries of their education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing/midwifery care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
