Are you a talented Sonographer looking to make a significant impact within regional communities? About the role:We are looking for an experienced Sonographer to join us at Griffith Base Hospital to provide a high-quality medical imaging service to MLHD patients to support the provision of optimal patient health outcomes.
As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for:- Performing a wide range of medical imaging and sonographic examinations, including obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, MSK, paediatrics and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Providing and managing a safe environment for all patients, staff and the public, including participation in the 24/7 roster and on-call arrangements to provide after-hours cover where required
- Prioritising and managing workload effectively across competing demands for both inpatients and outpatients to ensure timely and appropriate care delivery
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient details and examination information in line with RIS/PACS business rules and reporting requirements
- Supporting the training, supervision and assessment of undergraduate and new graduate sonographers while collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team, external referrers and reporting radiologists
- Maintaining current ASAR accreditation and engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure practice remains consistent with contemporary sonographic standards and NSW Health policy

What you'll be doing:
Using innovative, evidence-based skills, as the MyStep to Mental Wellbeing Clinician, you'll provide recovery focused support to people presenting with mental health challenges.
You will:
Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments and develop personalised care plans.
Deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions including CBT, ACT, DBT and solution focused approaches.
Work collaboratively through intake, case conferencing, joint sessions allied health and community services.
Manage and elevate risks to ensure consumer safety.
Provide flexible support via face to face, telehealth and outreach across the region.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and required data reporting (PMHC MDS).
Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current Australian recognised qualification as a Registered Nurse Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Counsellor with PACFA membership and hold current professional registration with AHPRA or membership of the relevant professional body

- Certificate lll in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care) or one year completion of Undergraduate Registered Nursing or Midwifery degree.
