This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality radiation therapy while working with contemporary technology and treatment techniques. You'll have the opportunity to rotate across all areas of the department, including treatment and planning, with exposure to our Elekta Unity MR Linac. We offer a competitive annual salary of up to $130,653 + superannuation, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and planning in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice.
• Undertake treatment, simulation and planning responsibilities across the department.
• Work collaboratively as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.
• Ensure radiation therapy processes and procedures are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administration in a professional and timely manner.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and the continuous improvement of our clinical services.

Requirements

• A Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated technical competence across radiation therapy treatment, simulation and planning.
• Knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
• An interest in continuing to develop professionally across all areas of the department, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac.
• Experience with the Monaco Treatment Planning System would be highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A patient-focused approach and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Join GenesisCare as a Radiation Therapist at our Kingswood clinic, located within the Somerset Specialist Centre. This is a full time position, offering full time hours across 4-days per week so you can enjoy an extra day for life outside of work, while still benefiting from a consistent Monday - Friday schedule. Step into an exciting, fast paced clinical role where you will play a key part in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality radiotherapy treatments. Working alongside a passionate and highly skilled team, you will bring your expertise, precision, and dedication to every patient interaction.

We offer a competitive salary package of up to $128,084 per year + Super ($135,869 + Super from Jan 2027) depending on your experience, along with the opportunity to build your career in a vibrant, supportive, and truly patient focused environment where your contribution is valued.

Responsibilities

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning, pre treatment and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state-specific requirements apply).
