This is a unique opportunity to influence medication safety, quality use of medicines and service innovation while contributing to the future direction of Pharmacy Services across South Western Sydney Local Health District.
- Lead the delivery of safe, effective and timely pharmacy services across Liverpool Hospital, ensuring excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes.
- Provide leadership and direction across all clinical, operational, financial and professional aspects of the Pharmacy Department.
- Drive organisational development, innovation and transformational change to optimise service performance and respond to emerging healthcare priorities.
- Champion medication safety, quality use of medicines, formulary management and evidence-based practice across the organisation.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Pharmacy Services across SWSLHD and foster a culture of continuous improvement, research and professional excellence.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex pharmacy services, balancing clinical, operational, financial and workforce priorities.
- Proven experience leading teams through organisational growth, change and service improvement while achieving strategic objectives.
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary pharmacy practice, clinical governance, medication safety and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build effective partnerships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, research, quality improvement and professional development to support excellence in patient care.

- Registered as a practising pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions on scope of practice

- Proven ability to provide leadership, strategic direction and apply strategic processes in the management of departmental resources and services
- Demonstrated experience with drug and therapeutics committees, medication safety initiatives, quality use of medicines and quality improvement activities, and risk management strategie
- Demonstrated understanding of the factors influencing hospital pharmacy practice in NSW
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated financial and analytical skills
