Your New RoleReporting into senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

THE ROLEThe Child Protection Team Manager is responsible for effective service delivery, managing resources and budget, cases awaiting allocation and small teams of practitioners. seeking an experienced radiographer to join our specialist veterinary hospital in Miranda, a ten-month appointment commencing December 2026, including a handover period before covering nine months of leave, with the potential for ongoing employment.
This position has a particular focus on supporting our neurology service through high-quality MRI and CT imaging. There is potential for the role to continue beyond the initial term, depending on
service demand and the successful candidate's skills. This position is collaborative and works across several departments, including internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, cardiology and neurology and alongside our
human sonographers who have been working with our animal patients for 5 years now, from human healthcare.
Radiographers from human healthcare are encouraged to apply. Previous veterinary experience is not
essential. We will provide veterinary-specific onboarding and support as you become familiar with our patients, positioning and imaging protocols. You will also work alongside sonographers who transitioned from human healthcare and have been imaging our veterinary patients for five years.
The roleWorking closely with our veterinary clinicians and nursing team, you will:

About the Role
Community Mental Health Services provide a range of services designed to help support the recovery and help consumer stay well in the community. The Aboriginal Mental Health Unit (AMHU) is based at Camperdown and is a small team providing culturally appropriate community and health centre based mental health consultations and coordinating care of Aboriginal Consumers of Mental Health Services. Care coordination is the main component of this model of care and includes extended care coordination, targeted packages of care and short term care coordination.
- This is an identified Aboriginal Position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal descent. (An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977). Must hold a current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.
- Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
- Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
- Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
- Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
- You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
- Present case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapistor Exercise Physiology
- Full registration with AHPRA or ESSA
