About the Role
Join CALHN’s dedicated NDIS Assessment Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist, providing specialist assessment, intervention and assistive technology support for people with complex disability needs. Help patients move through hospital and into the right supports with confidence and continuity.
- Provide specialist OT assessment and intervention for complex NDIS patients
- Prescribe assistive technology and shape NDIS recommendations
- Lead complex discharge planning across acute and sub-acute services
- Partner with NDIA, community providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor clinicians and support OT education, quality and practice
About You
You’ll bring advanced occupational therapy expertise, sound clinical judgement and a collaborative approach to supporting people with complex disability and NDIS needs.
- Hold an OT degree and be eligible for OTBA registration
- Bring current experience supporting adults with complex disability
- Apply advanced clinical reasoning across complex NDIS transitions
- Communicate and negotiate confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Lead teamwork, supervision and evidence-based OT practice

About the Role:
Modbury Hospital is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join its General Medicine team on a full-time contract through to 7 April 2028. If you are an experienced OT ready to apply your clinical expertise within a collaborative acute care environment, this is a role where your contribution will be felt by patients and the broader Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) community every day.
What You'll Be Doing
Working across the General Medicine wards at Modbury Hospital, you will deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention to a diverse adult patient cohort. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive functional, cognitive, and discharge-readiness assessments for General Medicine inpatients
- Developing and implementing evidence-based, patient-centred intervention plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Providing clinical supervision and support to junior OT staff and students on placement
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives, quality activities, and departmental projects within NALHN's Allied Health framework
What You'll Bring
- Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience in acute or sub-acute hospital settings, with strong General Medicine or inpatient assessment skills
- Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently and prioritise effectively under pressure
- Experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring to less experienced clinicians
- Sound understanding of discharge planning processes and community referral pathways within the South Australian health system
- Commitment to working within SA Health's safety and quality standards
To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

About the Role

About the Role
Join our Youth Services and Forensic Mental Health in Community Health team as a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people across Melbourne’s south-east. This is a part-time (0.8 EFT), ongoing role based in Dandenong, working across our Youth Health Hubs and Forensic Mental Health programs, including services delivered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychosocial assessment, therapeutic intervention, care coordination and group programs. You’ll support young people aged 15–25 years, as well as adults with mild to moderate mental health needs who have mental health treatment requirements as part of a Corrections Order or parole.
Using evidence-based, trauma-informed and person-centred approaches, you’ll support people to improve their health, wellbeing and independence.
About the Program
Youth Services supports young people aged 15–25 years to improve their health literacy, manage their health and wellbeing, and reduce preventable chronic disease and avoidable hospital admissions.
The Forensic Mental Health in Community Health (FMHiCH) Team supports adults on Corrections Orders or parole who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health conditions. The team assists people to access appropriate healthcare, meet their mental health treatment requirements and reduce their risk of reoffending.
Both services sit within a broader multidisciplinary program alongside Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and Community Health Nursing. Our teams value collaboration, inclusion and trauma-informed care, working closely with families, community organisations and health services.
About You
You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with people experiencing vulnerability, disadvantage or complex health needs. You bring a collaborative, strengths-based approach and are confident building therapeutic relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will bring a proficient level of professional knowledge and expertise, while actively contributing to departmental education, quality improvement, and service planning initiatives. Position 1 : Tarnma Ward - General rehabilitation (1FTE)
The Tarnma Rehabilitation unit focuses on providing rehabilitation services for patients following an illness, injury or medical event, including burns, orthopaedics, vascular and general rehabilitation. Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team in the purpose-built ward for rehabilitation with access to gyms and therapy rooms.
The occupational therapists provide assessment, treatment plans, individual and group interventions to maximise our patient's independence. Working within a multidisciplinary team, OT provides an essential service in support the patients journey including discharge. Assessment and intervention are in line with the latest evidence-based practice ensuring a high quality of service for all patients and a rewarding work environment for our team.
Position 2 : General Medical Team - Acute (1FTE)
Occupational Therapy in General Medicine team focuses on maximising patient independence, safety and function while navigating complex, fast paced acute care environments. You will conduct comprehensive functional, and cognitive assessments to facilitate safe discharge planning including identifying support needs, equipment prescription, education and early intervention for varied diagnostic caseload. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, CALHN OT strives to ensure a holistic focus on providing excellence in patient care.

About the role
The CAMHS Clinician – Occupational Therapy is professionally responsible for the outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents and their families with mental health issues and for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy. The CAMHS Clinician – Occupational Therapy is operationally accountable to the Clinical Services Coordinator, and professionally to the Senior Occupational Therapist, for delivering specialist child and adolescent mental health care to consumers with complex needs. The CAMHS Clinician – Occupational Therapy is responsible for ensuring optimal consumer care.
Key duties of the role
- Provide clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention services to children, adolescents and their families.
- Participating in the identification of mental health needs in the community and in the planning, execution and evaluation of programs to meet those needs.
- Promote access and equity of services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Being responsible for the clinical supervision and training of occupational therapy students on placement within the regional team
- Contribute to the development and sustainability of mental health occupational therapy skills for the needs of specific population groups.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board Australia (AHPRA).

Provide assessment and psychological therapy within Program for Early Intervention and the Prevention of Disability (PEIPOD), a multidisciplinary early intervention service for young people with recent onset psychosis or mood disorders, working across inpatient and community settings in partnership with local non-government organisations

Deliver individual and group psychoeducation for consumers and carers regarding mental health and alcohol and drug conditions, treatment options, harm minimisation, relapse prevention, and health promotion strategies

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with external services, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in clinical reviews and case conferences, completing mandatory outcome measures in line with MH-OAT requirements, and supporting seamless care pathways across services
About you
Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration, demonstrated clinical experience as a practising Occupational Therapist in a tertiary hospital or relevant health setting, and a current unrestricted NSW Class C Driver’s Licence

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Grade 1 Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic Allied Health team at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. Uses an evidence-based, problem-solving approach to clinical care and service development.
Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
Demonstrate consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in Occupational Therapy and related clinical areas.
Acts as a clinical consultant for the discipline and within the specialty.
You will have demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation within Occupational Therapy practice. With demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills you will also have the ability to communicate using technology.
To succeed you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Having previously worked in an Acute Hospital care setting you will have demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team. A Current C Class Drivers Licence is essential to the role. Those with a relevant post entry Master's Degree and eligible for Medicare Provider number will be highly regarded though not mandatory for the role.

About the opportunity
This role provides professional occupational therapy leadership to MMH&WS staff and promotes best clinical practice of MMH&WS occupational therapists.
The position also has a role in contributing to mental health service development, including membership of relevant leadership and governance meetings. Providing high level advice to the Mental Health leadership on mental health professional occupational therapist standards, workforce requirements and associated clinical service delivery.
- Promote the provision of best clinical practice of occupational therapist and other direct-care staff through professional and clinical skill development

About the opportunity
The Occupational Therapy department at WMH offers a supportive environment that promotes a culture of learning and development, with various opportunities for career progression. The friendly WMH OT teams consists of 28 dedicated clinicians who provide referral based holistic care to the emergency department, short stay unit, acute, subacute, community (Health Independence Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program & Support at Home) and outpatient hand therapy clients.
As a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist (Senior Clinician), you will provide safe, evidence‑based clinical leadership and support across the subacute setting. You will play a key role in the delivery and oversight of therapy programs, functional interventions, and patient‑centred care that promote independence, safety, and overall wellbeing.
A Grade 3 OT will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality service delivery, including assessment, intervention planning, and evaluation of outcomes. In this role, you will also provide supervision, guidance, and support to junior Occupational Therapy staff, fostering professional development and maintaining clinical standards within the team.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role will contribute to the effective operation of the department through leadership in quality improvement initiatives, resource development and coordination, and maintaining well‑organised and safe therapy environments.

- Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA

- A strong commitment to high quality, evidence based care
- Strong commitment to collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork and patient centered practice
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

About the Role
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact in community care? We’re seeking an enthusiastic clinician to join our innovative team, helping patients receive high-quality, person-centred care from the comfort of their own homes. We have an opportunity for a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist on a full- time, permanent basis (1.0 EFT / 80 hours per fortnight). Based across Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne sites.
In this role, you’ll provide best-practice, evidence-based care through face-to-face and/or Telehealth/telephone assessments and interventions for patients admitted to the service. You’ll work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and compassionate. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing high standard assessment, intervention, and coordination of services, aids, and equipment to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care
- Contributing to the planning, development, and evaluation of evidence-based Occupational Therapy services
- Working collaboratively within an interprofessional team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Building strong partnerships across Monash Health and with external stakeholders, alongside the Grade 3 Occupational Therapist, Allied Health and Psychology Manager, Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinators and other team members

About Us
Monash at Home - Aged and Rehabilitation Care (ARC) is a dynamic service that delivers care to patients within their own home. The team consists of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, Psychology and Administration staff. We provide an alternative to inpatient care, providing safe and high quality home based services for individuals with complex medical, functional and cognitive issues, who require comprehensive, medically led multidisciplinary assessment and intervention within the comfort of their own home. We are a 40 bed services that covers the Monash Health catchment. Operating out of two sites, Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne, staff are required to work flexibly across both sites to meet patient needs.
Patients within the service receive daily nursing visits. Medical, allied health, neuropsychology, and pharmacy teams also provide face-to-face or Telehealth consultations, depending on individual needs. In addition, patients have access to 24-hour telephone support.
About You
