About the opportunity
An exciting casual opportunity exists for a Grade 2 or 3 Allied Health Professional (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist considered) with Hand Therapy skills and knowledge to join a busy public hospital. This role provides hand therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients and supports patients presenting with acute, subacute and chronic conditions.
You will work alongside an established and supportive hand therapy team comprising of Grade 2 and Grade 3 clinicians, with access to shared expertise, peer support and clinical supervision. This position is embedded within the broader Occupational Therapy department who deliver services to the Emergency Department, Short Stay Unit, Acute, Subacute, Hospital in the Home, Health Independence Program and CHSP/Support@Home services.
This opportunity is well suited to clinicians seeking to consolidate or expand their hand therapy skills in a dynamic, multidisciplinary hospital environment, whilst contributing to high quality, patient-centered care.

- A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Current and full registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Hand Therapy
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

Weare seeking experienced Physiotherapists to join the team at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital for a Full time position commencing in September.
As a Physiotherapist at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment with patients to maximise their physical potential and restore movement and function, you will provide treatment integral to recovery from surgery, illness and injury.
With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care.

- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years post graduate clinical experience in acute tertiary hospital or rehabilitation hospital setting
- Experience in Day Rehabilitation and/or Inpatient rehabilitation

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality, person-centred and evidence-based Speech Pathology services to residents within St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne’s Public Aged Care Services. In this senior role, you will provide clinical leadership and expert consultation across residential aged care, supporting best practice in the management of communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with nursing, allied health and support services to promote excellent resident outcomes and contribute to the ongoing development of contemporary models of care.
You will:
Provide clinical leadership across residential aged care Speech Pathology services, promoting best practice in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
Provide expert clinical consultation and support for residents with complex communication and swallowing needs
Work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Unit Managers, Support Services and Allied Health teams
Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and processes that support compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Support the delivery of contemporary, person-centred models of care that promote positive outcomes and quality of life for residents
The classification for this position will range from VW6–VW9 ($104,135.20 - $118,981.20) per annum, pro rata for part time.
Your Contribution
You will be an experienced Speech Pathologist with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for older adults.
You will also bring:
Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
At least 8 years’ experience in adult Speech Pathology
Extensive experience in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership and expert consultation
Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills, with the ability to identify, develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
A genuine interest in and commitment to working with older adults and delivering person-centred care

The Acute Neuropsychology Unit is situated within Monash Medical Centre, Clayton. The Continuing Care Team Model of Care provide follow up to consumers with mental health issues requiring specialist mental health treatment and support that often is not met by generic services. This service provides case management support and treatment for consumers aged 25 to 65 years, operating Monday to Friday business hours, based at Atherton Rd Centre, Oakleigh.
The Mobile Support and Treatment Services is an assertive outreach services which provides case management to consumers aged between 25-65 years of age, with complex mental health needs who require psychosocial support and treatment. This service operates Monday – Sunday, working a rotating roster of morning and afternoon shifts, based at Atherton Rd Centre, Oakleigh.

You feel comfortable working in a ‘non-traditional’ mental health role and are open to new learning. You will contribute to the development and delivery of tenants’ support and referral plans through effective engagement and connection
You are highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic and can apply your lived experience and peer support skills to the support and recovery of others.

About the role
You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day-to-day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

About the role
Lead the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) program across SVHS and affiliated services, providing clinical and professional leadership to support safe and sustainable medication practices, compliance with medication management standards, and alignment with SVHA and NSW Health priorities
Oversee the hospital medication formulary, including Individual Patient Use (IPU) approvals, formulary requests and reporting, and liaison with the State Formulary Committee and that all regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
Deliver Medication Use Evaluations and Quality Improvement activities, including monitoring and reporting on drug expenditure, and contribute to QUM research, education, promotional initiatives, bulletins and memos supporting safe and effective medication use
Coordinate the SVHN Drug and Therapeutics Committee (DTC) secretariat, including communicating DTC decisions, preparing reports and maintaining the Pharmacy Intranet, while providing QUM advice to clinicians, pharmacists and external organisations including the Ministry of Health and CEC
Be an active member of relevant committees and working parties and assist in the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures to ensure optimal medication management
About you
Registered pharmacist with AHPRA, with no conditions on scope of practice, and relevant post-registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills and experience. Availability for on-call and weekend work as required
Significant experience and demonstrated competence in clinical pharmacy services, with strong clinical judgement, expertise and commitment to ongoing professional development
Demonstrated experience in formulary management and Drug and Therapeutics Committee processes, including implementation of committee decisions and development and implementation of medication-related policies and procedures
Demonstrated experience delivering Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) initiatives and Medicines Use Evaluation (MUE/DUE) activities, with knowledge of applying relevant Healthcare Standards in practice
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality written materials, communicate effectively, negotiate and influence stakeholders, and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Strong problem-solving, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and deliver complex tasks with accuracy, attention to detail and accountability

As a Grief and Loss Practice and Education Lead, you will play a meaningful role in strengthening the way UnitingCare supports people through grief, loss and bereavement. In this flexible, two-day-per-week role, you’ll design and deliver engaging training, presentations and program materials for facilitators, volunteers and clients. You’ll help keep our approach contemporary, compassionate and grounded in best practice, drawing on your professional experience and personal insight to create safe, supportive learning experiences that make a real difference.
Please note, this position is Part Time Permanent – 2 days per week. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
•
Design, develop and review grief and loss curriculum, training resources and program materials to ensure they remain current, relevant and aligned with contemporary practice.
•
Facilitate and co-deliver engaging workshops, presentations and learning sessions for facilitators, volunteers, clients and other stakeholders across Queensland.
•
Support compliance requirements for new and existing Grief and Loss facilitators and volunteers, helping ensure safe, consistent and quality program delivery.
•
Research emerging trends, evidence-based approaches and sector developments to contribute fresh ideas and continuous improvement across the Grief and Loss program.
•
Provide compassionate pastoral care, guidance and support where required, creating safe and respectful spaces for people impacted by grief and loss.
